A valley waiting to be discovered...

Val di Fassa is one of the most famous and loved valleys in Trentino Alto Adige by families with children but also relaxing couples.
During the summer it offers many excursions and opportunities for sports and activities at high altitudes but also in the valley. In winter, we know it is the backdrop for wonderful days on skis.

The main attractions of the Fassa Valley? We leave you some ideas and advice below!

Vajolet Towers: they are one of the symbols of the Dolomites and can be reached from the Gardeccia refuge (cable car that leaves from Vigo di Fassa).

Valle San Nicolò: it is a splendid walk through greenery in an uncontaminated environment, full of refuges and small mountain huts. You can arrive at a waterfall, ideal for resting and regenerating in the heart of nature.

Friedrich-August path: can be reached from the cable car near our hotel, which goes up to Col Rodella. It is a centenary route dedicated to the Prince of Saxony who had it built. This ring develops at the foot of the Sassolungo and Sassopiatto massifs, in a succession of breathtaking views that embrace the Marmolada, the Sella massif, Ciavazes, Sass Pordoi and bordering on the Alpe di Siusi.

Cima Piz Boè: with its 3 thousand meters of altitude, it is perhaps the easiest peak to reach in the Dolomites. Starting from the Pordoi Pass, on foot or by cable car, you continue to the top, passing a section with a metal rope.

Lake Antermoia: at the foot of the imposing Catinaccio d'Antermoia, there is a glacial lake at an altitude of 2500 m, in a suggestive environment surrounded by rocks and boulders. It is therefore not a simple walk, but it is quite challenging.

Buffaure: with the cable car that leaves from Pozza di Fassa, you reach the Buffaure area, full of panoramic excursions.

Marmolada: the undisputed queen of the Dolomites, can be reached from the Fassa valley along the hairpin road that climbs to the Fedaia Pass from Canazei.
